Faith is important and it is more important for the child to be influenced by the character of the Godparents. Keep all baptism and parish certificates ready to register the christening function. After the christening, get togethers can happen with a tea party with cakes, sandwiches and other delicacies. If you have people who have specially made it from far away, a detailed arrangement about convenient stay and food has to be thought of. Party time after christening is all about bonding.
